CodeVista ("we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how MediaGo ("Application") handles user data, permissions, and media files.

100% Offline Processing Guarantee: MediaGo processes all video extraction, audio trimming, format conversion, volume boosting, and ringtone generation completely locally on your device. We never upload, collect, sell, or transmit your personal videos, photos, audio files, or device storage contents to any remote server.

1. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

MediaGo requests only the minimum runtime permissions required to perform local media processing and system ringtone configuration:

Photos and Videos Access (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required strictly to read video files selected by you for Video-to-MP3 audio extraction. Your local video files remain strictly on your device.
Music and Audio Access (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to index, trim, convert, and save output audio tracks (MP3, AAC, WAV, M4A, OGG) to your local storage.
Write System Settings (WRITE_SETTINGS): Required exclusively when you choose to set an exported audio track directly as your default System Ringtone, Notification Sound, or Alarm Sound.

2. Third-Party Diagnostics & Services

To provide high performance, zero crash rates, and seamless Play Store updates, the application uses standard Google and Firebase SDKs:

Google Play In-App Updates: Checks for and securely delivers the latest application updates directly from Google Play.
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous, non-personally identifiable crash reports, stack traces, and device hardware specs (e.g., Android OS version, device model) to help us identify and fix bugs.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

MediaGo stores local conversion history and preference settings strictly on your device via sandboxed local storage. You can wipe all history and cached data at any time inside the app via Settings > Storage & History > Clear Conversion History, or by clearing app data in Android Settings.

4. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

The application does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is a general-purpose local media conversion and ringtone creation tool that does not require user registration or account creation.

5. Security of Information

We implement industry-standard security measures. Local media processing and conversions occur entirely within private device storage without external server uploads.

6. Policy Updates

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal requirements or application features. Any updates will be posted directly to this URL with a revised effective date.
